CERTIFICATE III & IV in DANCE
ADA is very pleased to now be able to offer Certificate III & IV in Dance for our students & members, in partnership with the Australian Dance Institute (ADi). We are partnering with ADi because the Certificate III & IV courses may only be offered through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and since ADA is not an RTO, ADi will be the RTO we will use.
Below is a brief outline of what is involved for everyone. For more detailed information just Google the first 2 headings below. Please understand that most references you will see will be written using technical terms and can be very involved, so make sure you have plenty of time.

CUA30113 CERTIFICATE III in DANCE
To qualify for this, students need to pass the current edition of the ADA Bronze Star & Silver Star Tap OR Bronze Star & Silver Star Jazz exams. Any one that has already done Bronze Star Tap & Jazz will receive prior learning recognition. As we have to add a few requirements to Silver Star Tap & Jazz this can only be offered to new students. However, we are prepared to allow students to redo the exam at a reduced fee.
Students must also complete the workbook which will be supplied to them by ADi, including the necessary teacher’s reports (see ADi Student Workbooks and Teacher Reports section below).
CUA40113 CERTIFICATE IV in DANCE
To qualify for this, it is recommended students have Certificate III in Dance already OR have completed the examinations required and then pass the 2016 edition of Gold Star & Bar to Gold Star Tap & Gold Star & Bar to Gold Star Jazz. Again, students can redo the exam, using the 2016 edition, at a reduced fee.
Students must also complete the workbook which will be supplied to them by ADi, including the necessary teacher’s reports (see ADi Student Workbooks and Teacher Reports section below).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
